Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency is required.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend English is necessary.
• Ability to multi-task and complete work without supervision in a timely manner.
• Prior customer-service and food handling experience highly preferred.
• Excellent customer-service skills and ability to be patient, respectful and compassionate to patients.
• Must have basic computer knowledge.
• Basic knowledge related to hospital diets.
• Comfortable cleaning trays, assisting in the dish room.
• Previous healthcare or nutrition experience preferred.
• Able to perform well in high functioning kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, retrieve, and clean patient trays.
• Deliver trays to patients and assist with their orders as needed.
• May assist in other areas of the kitchen, such as the dish room or restocking food and beverages.
• Work on the nutrition services tray line during shifts.
• Maintain basic computer duties as required.
