Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, FL, is seeking a Nutritional Services Retail Supervisor to oversee cafeteria, coffee shop and other retail outlets. You will supervise hourly staff, manage inventory, cash handling, and ensure high-quality, safe food service for staff, patients and visitors.

This full-time role requires 3-5 years of supervisory food service experience, a high school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred), and ServSafe certification within 6 months.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years supervisory experience in food service operations.
• Completion of Sanitation Certification Course or ServSafe Certification within 6 months of hire.
• Excellent computer and customer service skills, effective communication, and ability to work well with others in service situations.
• Customer-Service call center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staff supervision: scheduling, training, coaching, and assigning daily tasks.
• Retail operations: oversee cafeteria/retail cleanliness, food display, and service standards.
• Inventory & cash management: manage stock levels and cash reports, reconcile daily revenue.
• Food safety & compliance: maintain HACCP standards and sanitation compliance.
• Customer service: ensure excellent guest, doctor, staff experiences.
• Operations support: act as primary contact in absence of Food Service Management.
