Chestnut Health Systems Inc. is seeking a Client Care Technician / Specialist to provide recovery-focused, trauma-informed support in Maryville, IL. This part-time role strengthens clients’ self-directed recovery and helps create a safe, welcoming environment within residential and crisis services.

The position supports evening, overnight, and weekend coverage with shift differentials. Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $22.00 per hour, with compensation based on qualifications and local market

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of experience in mental health, substance use, or other social services OR a bachelor’s degree.
• CRSS or CPRS certification required for Specialist title.
• CADC certification within two years of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and basic computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Guide the Recovery Journey by observing client progress, stepping in when needed, and reporting on personal goals.
• Promote a recovery-first mindset with trauma-informed care and respectful language.
• Lead daily activities with the clinical team and maintain the daily routine.
• Assist with meal preparation and observe clients taking prescribed medications per safety protocols.
• Welcome new clients, orient them to program rules, and help them settle into rooms.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments, outings, and community events.
• Serve as a backup for Residential Recovery staff to ensure welcoming, safe care.

Formation

High School Diploma or equivalent

Bachelor’s degree

CRSS or CPRS certification (required for Specialist title)

CADC certification (within 2 years of hire)
