Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living in the greater Albany, New York region is seeking a part-time Resident Care Aide/Medication Assistant with weekend availability to support memory-impaired residents.

You will assist residents with bathing, grooming and dressing, maintain accurate care records, report changes to supervisors, and encourage participation in community activities while upholding dignity.

Experience in caregiving and a compassionate attitude are required; CNA/HHA/PCA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA/HHA/PCA certification preferred or as required by law.
• One year caregiving experience preferred.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Assist memory-impaired residents with bathing, grooming, and dressing while maintaining dignity.
• Ensure compliance with residents' rights and regulations.
• Maintain and document proper records of care.
• Immediately report changes in resident’s condition to the supervisor.
• Promote and encourage residents to participate in community activities.
