Job summary

Mercy Fitzgerald Laboratory, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, seeks a Medical Technologist to join its laboratory team. The role involves performing diagnostic tests across Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank and Microbiology, using analyzers and microscopes to provide detailed results that guide patient care.

The candidate will work part-time during the evening shift, with per diem responsibilities and a weekend/holiday rotation, supporting high-quality diagnostics in a patient-centered

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology is required.
• Baccalaureate in biology/chemistry or 30 semester hours in biology/chemistry/medical sciences with certification prerequisites.
• Master's or doctorate in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic laboratory tests across Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank and Microbiology.
• Operate microscopes, analyzers and computers to generate accurate lab results.
• Work independently in assigned areas while maintaining high-quality patient care.

Bachelor's in Medical Technology

Biology or Chemistry major

Masters/PhD preferred

ASCP MT certification

MT (ASCP) eligible
