Job summary

CBRE Government & Defense Services in Houston, TX is seeking a part-time, on-site Laborer to perform custodial and grounds maintenance to keep interior and exterior facilities clean, safe, and well-kept. Shift: Mon–Fri 5:00pm–9:00pm, with adherence to established procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning high-traffic areas, stocking restrooms, sweeping and mopping, lawn care tasks, and following company procedures.

Qualifications

• Physically capable of routine custodial tasks and grounds maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive walking and standing.
• Effective communication with team and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas.
• Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, and wipe storage areas, hallways, restrooms, elevators.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment; move and rearrange furniture.
• Clean windows, glass, mirrors; use cleaners and squeegees.
• Follow chemical safety procedures and power equipment usage.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
