Job summary

CBRE Government and Defense is seeking a part-time Laborer to perform routine custodial and grounds maintenance duties at our Houston facility. The role supports clean, safe, and well-kept interior and exterior spaces in line with established procedures and company standards.

Shift is Monday through Friday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, on-site in Houston, TX. The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and about 2 years of related experience, with physical stamina and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of custodial/grounds experience preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas of the building as designated by the supervisor.
• Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage areas, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment; move and rearrange furniture as needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors; use cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Follow procedures for use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
