Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington is seeking a part-time, in-person Residence Life team member to assist with late-night programming at the Hoosier Den. The role supports Read Hall and Foster Quad, coordinating setup, logistics, and events while maintaining safety and engagement for first-year students.

Eligible students can apply through the Student Center in OneIU. The position offers a 12.25 USD hourly rate, two 8–12 hour shifts weekly, and up to 29 hours total per week, with a comprehensive

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University Bloomington
• Preferred: studying Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality and/or Tourism Management
• Event Planning experience
• Program Management experience
• Able to move up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and implement late-night programmatic experiences with the Program Coordinator.
• Collaborate on large-scale monthly late-night programs and weekly themed events.
• Manage and track program proposals for timely submission and approvals.
• Work at Read Hall and Foster Quad as needed for events.
• Provide hands-on support during events including setup and teardown.
• Open/close Hoosier Den space ensuring readiness and security.
• Coordinate logistics, supplies, and documentation for events.
• Report misconduct or policy violations to the Residence Life Coordinator.
