Job summary

Rocky Mountain Chapter Independent Electrical Contractors, Inc. (IECRM) seeks an Electrical Apprenticeship Instructor in Colorado. The part-time role involves teaching the IEC curriculum during evening classes, writing tests, and tracking attendance.

New instructors receive training and work under the Training Director. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, maintaining records, and complying with IECRM values of integrity, competency, respect, service, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Active or retired electrician required.
• State licenses and teaching credentials are mandatory or to be obtained.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Teach from National IEC Curriculum and supplement with your own materials.
• Write and grade tests, quizzes, and homework assignments.
• Maintain attendance records and CMS documentation.
• Prepare Lesson Plans and submit to Training Director.
• Adhere to class schedule and dress code for evening classes.
• Participate in IECRM events and activities as needed.
