Job summary

Ecumen is seeking a Part-Time Dining Assistant to support meal service for residents in Minnesota. The role runs 20 hours over two weeks with a 3:30pm–6:30pm shift and every-other-weekend rotation. Training emphasizes compassionate service, safety, and compliance with regulations.

Qualified applicants are at least 16 years old and must communicate well, both verbally and in writing. The position offers a competitive hourly pay and benefits for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Must follow all safety, policies and procedures incl. HIPAA, Resident’s Bill of Rights, OSHA, ADA and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary service to residents, families and guests.
• Serve meals per diet orders and ensure correct portion sizes and temperatures.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, organized work area and rotate stock as needed.
• Complete opening and closing duties and perform routine cleaning tasks.
• Notify supervisor of changes in residents’ health or concerns.
• Respond to resident requests and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with staff to support operations in a dynamic setting.
• Assist with special functions as directed by leadership.
• Respect facility property and supplies at all times.
