Job summary

Ecumen is seeking a part-time Dining Assistant in Saint Peter, MN to support residents with meal service, cleanup, and friendly, respectful interactions. The role requires 16+ years of age, effective communication, and adherence to safety policies.

The position offers evening hours (4:00pm–7:30pm) with bi-weekly schedule and benefits based on hours worked. Prepare and serve meals per diet orders, maintain clean facilities, and collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality dining experiences

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
• Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provides exemplary service to residents, families and guests, ensuring all feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service.
• Serves meals to residents per diet order and portion size, and at the proper temperature.
• Maintains a clean, sanitary, safe and efficiently organized work area; rotates inventory and operates equipment safely.
• Completes opening and closing duties and routine cleaning tasks.
• Notifies supervisor of changes in residents' health or concerns and responds to requests or complaints promptly.
