Job summary

Ecumen Pathstone in Minnesota seeks a Dining Assistant to support food prep, serving, and cleanup in a senior living setting. The role emphasizes friendly resident service, safety, and teamwork within a structured facility environment.

The position offers a full-time schedule (6:30am-3:00pm) with about 60 hours bi-weekly, rotating weekends, and holidays. Pay targets are $19–$20 per hour, plus a comprehensive benefits package and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
• Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provides exemplary service to residents, families and guests, ensuring all feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service.
• Serves meals to residents per diet order and portion size, and at the proper temperature.
• Maintains a clean, sanitary, safe and efficiently organized work area; labels, dates and rotates inventory; operates equipment safely.
• Completes opening and closing duties; performs routine cleaning responsibilities.
• Notifies supervisor of changes in residents' health.
• Responds to resident requests and concerns; notifies supervisor.
• Works with others in a demanding environment; supports team members.
• Assists with special functions as directed.
• Demonstrates respect for facility property and supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
