Job summary

Highland Chateau Health + Rehabilitation Center is seeking a part-time Activity Aide for the PM shift to engage residents in evenings at our Saint Paul facility. You will help plan, lead, and participate in recreational activities that promote social connection and well-being.

The ideal candidate is friendly, patient, reliable, and able to work with older adults both independently and as part of a team. Prior healthcare experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with seniors or in healthcare preferred but not required.
• Friendly, energetic, and patient with good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, compassionate, and enjoy working with older adults.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and leading recreational and therapeutic activities for residents.
• Engage residents in games, crafts, music, exercise, and special events.
• Help set up, clean up, and transport residents to and from activities.
• Document participation and provide feedback to the Activities Director.
• Promote a positive, fun, and inclusive environment for all residents.
