Job summary

Sky Lakes is seeking an EMT with hospital/ED exposure to assist nurses in patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will help with activities of daily living, take vitals, and support EKG procedures.

The role requires one year of relevant experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and current EMT certification. Applicants should be able to communicate clearly in English and maintain legible records under stressful conditions.

Qualifications

• One year of acute care hospital or EMT experience required.
• English speaking with legible handwriting and basic arithmetic knowledge.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current EMT certification (Lic/Reg/Cert) in Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care as requested by the primary care nurse.
• Records vitals and assists nursing staff with patient information.
• Performs twelve-lead EKG tracings per physician order.
• Assists with procedures and supports equipment handling under supervision.
• Prepares patients for dismissal and arranges transportation as needed.
• Stocks and cleans treatment areas and maintains a safe environment.
• Maintains professional communication with patients and staff.
