Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department at Mercy Hospital Washington. This part-time role is 12 hours per week with a 1:00pm–1:30am shift, supporting a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio in a 26-bed ED serving the community 24/7.

The successful candidate will provide patient care using the nursing process, coordinate across departments, protect patient rights, and uphold Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (or compact license).
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (or within 30 days), plus unit-specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
