Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington seeks an experienced RN for the Emergency Department. This part-time (24 hrs/week) role shifts 6:30pm–7:00am, offering a $20,000 sign-on bonus for experienced nurses and education benefits.

You will provide patient care, coordinate with departments, and uphold Mercy standards in a 26-bed ED with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. Eligible candidates hold an RN license (or compact), ACLS/BLS, and can lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (or compact license)
• ACLS and BLS certification required (or within 30 days)
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs regularly

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain professional accountability
• Evaluates care effectiveness and coordinates patient care with other departments
• Supports 26-bed ED with 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio and team of techs and paramedics
