Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department on a part-time 24-hour weekly schedule, with shifts from 6:30pm to 7:00am. The ED treats a 26-bed unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio and supports with techs and paramedics.

You'll be responsible for applying the nursing process, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinating care with other departments. Mercy offers a sign-on bonus up to $20,000, education assistance, and robust benefits

Qualifications

• Current RN license (or compact license).
• ACLS and BLS certifications required or within 30 days of start.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull equipment.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.

• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
