Job summary

Baptist Health Corbin is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the 2nd shift in the Emergency Department. Our ED is a Level IV Trauma designated unit with 28 beds offering around-the-clock care for patients of all ages, from non-emergent complaints to life-threatening conditions.

The RN provides compassionate, evidence-based nursing care through assessment, treatment, care coordination, patient and family education, and individualized care planning while supporting admissions, transfers, and

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Kentucky or work permit
• Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing
• ACLS, PALS, NRP and dysrhythmia training as required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, ensure and provide direct patient care on the unit
• Perform nursing rounds, assessments and treatments
• Facilitate admissions, transfers and discharges; patient and family education and care planning
