Job summary

Baptist Health Corbin is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department (ED). The ED is a Level IV Trauma Designated unit with 28 beds and around-the-clock care for all ages. You will provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care and support admissions, transfers, and discharges.

The RN will lead rounds, assessments, treatments, and patient education while coordinating care across the team in a fast-paced ED setting.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
• Basic life support certification; must obtain within 30 days if missing.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and dysrhythmia training as required by department.

Responsibilities

• The RN delivers evidence-based nursing care focused on the patient as a whole.
• The RN models compassion, respect, and empathy to support healing and wellness.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, discharges and provide patient/family education.
