Job summary

Baptist Health Corbin is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department in Corbin, KY. This full-time position focuses on compassionate, evidence-based care across all ages in a Level IV ED with 28 beds, including fast-track and behavioral health intake areas.

The RN will perform rounds, assessments, treatments, and coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges while educating patients and families and coordinating individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
• Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
• Basic life support; within 30 days of hire if not already held.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and dysrhythmia class as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and clinical coordination on the ED unit.
• Perform assessments, treatments, and nursing rounds.
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Educate patients and families and participate in care planning.
