Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals in Dallas, TX seeks an Electrophysiology Lab Tech to support complex procedures and patient care. This part-time role focuses on monitoring, instrument prep, and assisting with catheter-based procedures in a fast-paced cardiovascular division.

The position requires RCIS/RCES/ARRT certification or equivalent Cath Lab/EP experience, along with BLS and ACLS within 1 year. Night and weekend flexibility is limited to day shifts.

Qualifications

• RCIS, RCES, or ARRT certification, or 3 years Cath Lab or EP experience.
• CVT Tech
• Allied Health Degree
• Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
• ACLS within 1 year of hire date or transfer into position

Responsibilities

• Monitor hemodynamic and ECG data and interpret results.
• Scrub assist for diagnostic and electrophysiology procedures and prepare supplies.
• Prepare sterile field and handle cardiac catheters, guidewires and devices.
• Inject contrast meds under physician supervision.
• Document procedures and patient information per hospital policy.
• Coordinate procedure scheduling and assist with inventory management.
• Support the organization's mission, vision, values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
