Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals in Garland, TX is seeking an Electrophysiology/EP Lab Tech for a part-time days role. You will support diagnostic and interventional EP procedures with equipment operation, supplies, and imaging, in a fast-paced cardiovascular setting.

The position requires RCIS/RCES/ARRT or 3+ years cath lab/EP experience, plus BLS; ACLS within 1 year; Allied Health degree. On-site, no on-call, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Must hold RCIS, RCES, or ARRT certification or have 3+ years of Cath Lab/EP experience.
CVT Tech credential is preferred.
Allied Health Degree required.
Current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
ACLS certification required within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

Utilize hemodynamic and ECG monitoring to interpret data.
Scrub assist for diagnostic and electrophysiology procedures, maintain sterile field and prepare instruments.
Assist with injection of contrast media and medications as directed.
Document procedures and patient information per hospital policy.
Coordinate procedure schedules as assigned.
Assist with inventory control under supervision.
