Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals in the Dallas area is seeking an Electrophysiology Lab Tech for a part-time days schedule. You will support diagnostic and interventional EP procedures, including equipment setup, patient monitoring, and sterile field management.

The role emphasizes patient care, teamwork, and adherence to hospital policy. Required certifications or cath lab experience, BLS, and ACLS within 1 year, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow within HCA Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Certification as RCIS, RCES, or ARRT, or 3 years Cath Lab or EP experience.
• CVT Tech.
• Allied Health Degree.
• Current BLS issued by AHA or Red Cross.
• ACLS required within 1 year of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Use hemodynamic and ECG monitoring, including interpretation of data.
• Scrub assist for diagnostic and electrophysiology procedures; prepare supplies, sterile field, catheters, wires and devices.
• Inject contrast media and medications from sterile field as directed by physician.
• Document procedures and patient information per hospital policy.
• Assist to coordinate procedure schedule as assigned.
• Assist with inventory control as directed by supervisor/manager.
• Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
• Other duties as assigned.
