Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals in Fort Worth seeks a qualified EP Lab Tech for a full-time day shift (Monday–Friday, 6:30am–5:00pm). No call is required.

The role supports diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures with supply, equipment operation, monitoring, imaging and catheter handling. As part of the EP lab team, you will scrub, prepare supplies, maintain sterile fields, assist with device manipulation, document procedures, coordinate schedules and help manage

Qualifications

• RCIS/RCES/ARRT certification or 3 years Cath Lab or EP experience.
• CVT Tech.
• Allied Health Degree.
• Current BLS issued by AHA or Red Cross.
• ACLS within 1 year of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Use hemodynamic and ECG monitoring, including interpretation of data.
• Scrub assist for all diagnostic and electrophysiology procedures including preparation of supplies and instruments, preparation and maintenance of the sterile field, preparation and manipulation of cardiac catheters, guide-wires and devices.
• Injection of contrast media and medications from the sterile field as directed and supervised by the physician
• Documentation of procedures and patient information according to hospital policy.
• Assist to coordinate procedure schedule as assigned
• Assist with inventory control as directed by the supervisor / manager

• Other duties as assigned
