Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals in Texas is seeking a part-time Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Tech. Typical hours are 6:30am–5pm with a minimum of two 10-hour shifts; no on-call required.

The role includes scrub assist, patient monitoring, and coordination of procedure schedules. You will support EP procedures with equipment, catheters, and devices while maintaining sterile technique and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• RCIS/RCES/ARRT certification (or 2+ years Cath Lab/EP experience) required.
• Allied Health Degree
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS within 1 year of hire required

Responsibilities

• Identify steps in procedures to provide technical assistance for EP procedures.
• Scrub assist: prepare supplies, instruments, sterile field, catheters and devices.
• Inject contrast media and medications as directed by the physician.
• Document procedures and patient information per hospital policy.
• Coordinate procedure schedules and assist with inventory control as directed.
• Support organization mission, vision, and values.

Education
