Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals in the Dallas area seeks an Electrophysiology Lab Technician (EP Lab Tech) for a part-time role. You will assist in diagnostic and interventional EP procedures, monitor patients, prepare supplies, and help maintain sterile technique during complex cardiac cases.

The position offers daytime shifts (typically 6:30am–5:00pm) with no required on-call, and requires RCIS/RCES/ARRT or significant EP/Cath Lab experience, along with BLS and ACLS credentials.

Qualifications

• RCIS/RCES/ARRT certification or 3 years Cath Lab/EP experience.
• CVT Tech.
• Allied Health Degree.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
• ACLS within 1 year of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Identify steps in procedures and provide technical assistance in EP procedures.
• Scrub assist; prepare supplies and maintain sterile field for diagnostic and interventional EP procedures.
• Injection of contrast media and medications from sterile field under physician guidance.
• Document procedures and patient information per hospital policy.
• Assist to coordinate procedure schedule as assigned.
• Assist with inventory control as directed by supervisor/manager.
• Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
• Other duties as assigned.
