Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals in Allen, TX, is hiring an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Tech for part-time day shifts (6:30am–5pm). There is no set schedule, but candidates must be able to cover a minimum of two 10‑hour shifts and be comfortable with no on‑call requirements.

You will provide technical support for diagnostic and interventional EP procedures, including monitoring, scrub duties, catheter handling, and device use.

Qualifications

• RCIS/RCES/ARRT certification or 3 years Cath Lab/EP experience.
• CVT Tech credential.
• Allied Health Degree.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Use hemodynamic and ECG monitoring and interpret data.
• Scrub assist for diagnostic and electrophysiology procedures; prepare supplies and sterile field.
• Prepare and manipulate cardiac catheters, guide-wires and devices.
• Inject contrast media and meds under physician supervision.
• Document procedures and patient information per hospital policy.
• Coordinate procedure schedule as assigned.
• Assist with inventory control as directed by supervisor/manager.
• Support organizational mission, vision and values.
• Other duties as assigned.
