Job summary

Hyp-Tro Building Services is seeking an Environmental Service professional for a part-time shift from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, in a healthcare or hotel setting.

Under supervision, the custodian will perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, disinfecting bathrooms, replenishing supplies, and waste removal. The role requires lifting up to 25 pounds and following English instructions; prior housekeeping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• 1 year housekeeping experience in a healthcare or hotel setting preferred.
• Under general supervision of Hyp-Tro Building Service/Custodian, performs a variety of general cleaning tasks including dust mopping, high/low dusting, office, conference room cleaning, disinfecting bathrooms and fixtures, replenishing paper supplies and soap products, trash removal of non-infectious and infectious waste, vacuuming, blinds dusting, window sill wipe, and cleaning of identified medical devices and instruments.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Dust mopping, high/low dusting, cleaning of offices and conference rooms, beds and fixtures; disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
• Replenish paper supplies and soap products; trash removal of non-infectious and infectious waste; vacuuming and blinds dusting.
• Clean identified medical devices and instruments; remove black marks and mop floors in hallways and assigned areas.
• Follow basic oral and written instructions in English; arrive on time, wear uniform, and maintain cleanliness and safety.

Under the general supervision of Hyp-Tro Building Service/ Custodian must performs a variety of general cleaning tasks , the Custodian is responsible for dust mopping , high/low dusting, office, conference room, cleaning including the bed and fixtures, disinfecting of the bathroom and fixtures, replenishing paper supplies and soap products, trash removal of both non-infectious and infectious waste, vacuuming, wall washing, Blinds dust, window sill wipe, cleaning of identified medical devices and instruments.

Removing Black marks off floor mopping floors and hallways and other assigned area. Ability to follow basic oral and written instructions in English Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
