Shift: 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Monday - Friday

Position Summary:
Environmental Service Custodian

Minimum Education:
HS Diploma not required. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English is necessary.
Preferred: 1 year housekeeping experience in healthcare or hotel setting.

Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of Hyp-Tro Building Service/Custodian, performs general cleaning tasks including dust mopping, high/low dusting, cleaning exam rooms (beds and fixtures), disinfecting bathrooms and fixtures, replenishing paper supplies and soap, trash removal (non-infectious and infectious waste), vacuuming, wall washing, blinds dusting, window sill wiping, and cleaning medical devices and instruments.
Removes black marks from floors, mops floors and hallways, and performs other assigned cleaning duties. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions in English and lift at least 25 pounds.

Expectations:
1. Arrive and depart work on time.
2. Report to work on scheduled days with minimal absenteeism.
3. Take meal breaks and return on time.
4. Wear a clean, odor-free uniform daily.
5. Maintain a professional appearance in uniform.
