Job summary

Hyp-Tro Building Services is seeking an Environmental Service staff member for a part-time role in Riverdale Park, MD. The position covers cleaning tasks in healthcare or hotel settings with a 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

shift, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate reads, writes, and speaks English and has prior housekeeping experience; HS diploma not required. Responsibilities include dust mopping, cleaning bathrooms, stocking supplies, trash removal, and maintaining clean, safe spaces.

Qualifications

• 1 year housekeeping experience in a healthcare or hotel setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dust mopping, high/low dusting, cleaning offices and conference rooms.
• Disinfecting bathrooms and fixtures; replenishing supplies; trash removal including infectious waste; vacuuming and window sill cleaning.
• Cleaning of identified medical devices and instruments; removing stains and mopping floors; general area maintenance.

Under the general supervision of Hyp-Tro Building Service/ Custodian must performs a variety of general cleaning tasks , the Custodian is responsible for dust mopping , high/low dusting, office, conference room, cleaning including the bed and fixtures, disinfecting of the bathroom and fixtures, replenishing paper supplies and soap products, trash removal of both non-infectious and infectious waste, vacuuming, wall washing, Blinds dust, window sill wipe, cleaning of identified medical devices and instruments.
Removing Black marks off floor mopping floors and hallways and other assigned area. Ability to follow basic oral and written instructions in English Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
