Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a full-time Activities Assistant to engage residents in a lively and supportive community setting. You will help plan and implement daily activities, coordinate monthly calendars, and arrange performers and seminars for residents.

You will also provide transportation to events, assist residents using the community vehicle, and work closely with staff to ensure a welcoming, safe, and enriching environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with residents, family members, and team members.
• Self-motivated, organized, and professional; able to work independently and multitask.
• Strong customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, planning, implementation, and execution of activities for residents.
• Assist in developing the monthly calendar, procure performers, provide seminars, and maintain the resident library.
• Drive residents to events and assist them entering/exiting the community vehicle.
