Job summary

Allied Universal in Saint Charles, IL is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced – Unarmed with a customer service focus. You will provide security procedures, monitor access, and respond to incidents at a food and beverage production site, while earning reliable hours.

The role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform, enabling flexible income growth toward a full schedule.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized entry, documenting visitor and contractor activity, and communicating access concerns to site contacts.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
