Allied Universal in Robinson, IL is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time to provide reliable, scheduled coverage at a food and beverage production site. You will work fixed anchor shifts and have the option to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings.

This role emphasizes customer service, access-control procedures, and safety, with a six-month commitment to the anchor shift and opportunities to grow within the industry leader.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, screen authorized visitors and contractors, and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle entry records.
• Control access to restricted production, warehouse, office, and perimeter areas in accordance with established site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, the facility, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support compliance with site procedures.
