Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• Drug screen required where lawful.
• Licensing requirements may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols through facility buildings, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and report irregularities to site leadership.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Customer Service Patrol

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Customer Service Patrol in Saint Charles, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $19.99 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a food production and distribution environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout facility buildings, employee and visitor areas, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report irregular conditions or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
