Job summary

Grand Canyon University is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach English Composition II at our Phoenix campus for the Spring 2027 term. The role focuses on delivering high-quality instruction in a collaborative, smaller-class setting while supporting student growth and engagement.

The candidate should hold a PhD or a Master’s with substantial English teaching experience, and be prepared to adhere to GCU’s doctrinal and mission guidelines in the classroom.

Qualifications

• PhD in English, Composition, Writing or Rhetoric preferred.
• Minimum: Master’s in English-related field with 18 graduate credits and substantial teaching experience.
• Experience teaching at the college level is expected.
