Job summary

Grand Canyon University seeks an adjunct instructor for English for Professional Written and Verbal Communication at its Phoenix campus. Courses are in-person on the traditional campus with a schedule of Mondays and Wednesdays from 3-7 pm.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s degree in Liberal Arts or related field and will facilitate lectures, engage students, and assess outcomes while aligning with the University’s mission and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a Liberal Arts, Behavioral Health or Social Science discipline.
• Unofficial transcript reflecting degree earned with 18 graduate credit hours in the areas listed above.
• Unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions.
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics.
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom.
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
