Grand Canyon University seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach Acting II at our Phoenix campus. The course focuses on scene study, textual analysis, and developing performance technique.

The ideal candidate holds MFA or terminal degree in Theatre with Acting/Directing coursework and at least two years of university teaching experience. In-person instruction supports our mission and community values.

Qualifications

• Minimum: MFA or terminal degree in Theatre with Acting/Directing coursework.
• At least 2 years of university teaching experience or approval by the Dean.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions while incorporating innovative teaching strategies.
• Engage students with current technologies and industry trends.
• Assess student performance and mentor classroom success.
• Uphold the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission.
