Job summary

Custom Manufacturing & Engineering, Inc. (CME) is seeking an experienced Part-Time Engineering Manager to provide technical leadership and hands-on engineering support for aerospace and defense programs.

You will mentor engineers and lead multidisciplinary efforts in mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering, review drawings and schematics, and coordinate with manufacturing, quality, customers, and suppliers on design, manufacturing, and testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or aerospace engineering.
• Significant aerospace/defense manufacturing experience.
• Demonstrated cross-disciplinary engineering leadership.
• Experience guiding engineers from design to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for CME engineering activities and personnel.
• Lead multidisciplinary efforts in mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering.
• Review drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, specs, and BOMs.
• Support design, development, manufacture, integration, and testing of products.
• Conduct design reviews and customer meetings, translate requirements into designs.
