Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Significant aerospace/defense/high-reliability manufacturing experience.
• Experience across mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering disciplines.
• Experience leading engineers and providing technical direction.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for CME engineering activities and personnel.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering efforts involving mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering.
• Review drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications, and BOMs.
• Support design, development, manufacture, integration, and testing of cables, harnesses, and SMT.
• Conduct design reviews and customer meetings.
• Ensure requirements translate into designs and documentation.
• Work with Manufacturing and Quality to troubleshoot issues.
• Support root-cause investigations and engineering changes.
• Review designs for manufacturability and reliability.
• Interface with customers, suppliers, and government representatives.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical direction.
• Interface with aerospace/defense primes as required.
