Job summary

Custom Manufacturing & Engineering (CME) is seeking an Electrical Engineer I or II to design, develop, test, and support electronic hardware used in aerospace, defense, space, industrial, and energy applications. This hands-on role offers ownership of circuit design, troubleshooting, and technical execution in a collaborative team in the Tampa Bay area.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
  • 0–2 years for EE I; 2–5+ years for EE II.
  • Foundational knowledge of analog circuit design (op amps, filters, power supplies).
  • Familiarity with schematic capture and circuit simulation tools (OrCAD, SPICE, LTspice).
  • Hands-on experience with electronics lab equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop analog and mixed-signal circuits for power, sensing, and control systems.
  • Build, prototype, test, and troubleshoot electronic hardware in the lab.
  • Use SPICE/OrCAD/LTspice to simulate and validate designs.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and test personnel across the product lifecycle.
  • Develop schematics, specifications, test procedures, and technical reports.
