Qualifications

• Diversity responsiveness and equity-minded practice required.
• Master’s in engineering or related field; or engineering bachelor plus Master’s in math/physics/CS/chem/geo; or credential.
• Valid California Community College Credential or equivalent education/experience.
• Bachelor’s in engineering with professional engineer license is an alternative qualification.

Responsibilities

• Teach a part-time schedule of Engineering courses as assigned.
• Use diverse pedagogies and technology for face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats.
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
• Maintain curriculum outlines and evaluate student progress with various assessments.
• Provide course syllabi and keep grading/records per district policy.
• Complete required grading/evaluation reports in a timely manner.
• Fulfill duties per Administrative Regulation 7122.
