Job summary

Bechtel Corporation in Houston seeks an Energy Financial Services Assistant to support the Energy FSM and Energy CFO in financial execution for the Energy GBU and awarded projects. Based in Houston and reporting to the Energy FSM, this role coordinates project accounting activities, reporting and financial controls with deployed Finance personnel and Energy and BBS teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 5–14 years of relevant experience depending on grade.
• Experience with GAAP and IFRS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review contract provisions and support project setup and accounting tools.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and validation.
• Support tax, treasury, and audit responses across entities and projects.
• Assist with cash requirements, invoicing, and cost control analyses.
• Prepare analyses for management, auditors and external reviews.
• Assist FSM staffing plans, training and development activities.
