Bechtel Global Corporation seeks an Associate Development Manager to support power project development and financing across the U.S. and globally.

The role collaborates with Bechtel’s Infrastructure and Manufacturing & Technology GBUs, reporting to the Head of CleanGen Operations & Functions. The position manages development activities from site identification to licensing and community engagement, coordinating with internal teams as projects move toward a construction phase.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree and 8+ years' progressively responsible experience in infrastructure and/or power sector - development, investment, financing, research.
• Experience in development, investment, financing, and research.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Advance development of multiple power projects from early stage to financial close, taking ownership of key workstreams.
• Support identification of new power development prospects and opportunities, including consortia-building and site reconnaissance.
• Assist in financial analysis, modeling, pricing, and offtake structuring.
• Assist in delivering project bids and financing, including reviewing contracts and developing partnership structures.
• Lead local, state, and federal permitting processes.
• Negotiate key contracts and agreements.
• Manage tasks according to budget and schedule.
• Represent Bechtel with partners, customers, landowners, officials, utilities, and stakeholders.
