Job summary

Atlanta Technical College is seeking highly qualified applicants for its Adjunct Instructor, EMT / AEMT / Paramedic (Part-Time), located on Atlanta Technical College’s main campus, just South of Downtown Atlanta. Under supervision, you will deliver didactic, psychomotor, and clinical instruction for EMT and Paramedic courses.

This is a part-time position, up to twenty-nine hours per week, with day, evening and weekend options.

Qualifications

• Must possess high school diploma or higher in a health-related field.
• Current National Registry credentials as an AEMT or Paramedic.
• Current GA EMS Instructor licensure and BLS/ CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Teaching effectiveness and subject matter expertise in EMS.
• Knowledge of EMS program requirements and outcomes evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver didactic, psychomotor, and clinical instruction for EMT and Paramedic courses.
• Utilize adult-learning techniques and varied teaching methods.
• Maintain classrooms, clinics, and labs and manage records/grade books.
• Assist with student recruitment and job placement; participate in meetings.
• Ensure compliance with TCSG policies and accrediting standards.
• Maintain credentialing standards with agencies (GA EMS/CAAHEP as appropriate).
