Job summary

Minimum qualifications include an active paramedic license, NREMT certification, an associate’s degree in Paramedicine

Qualifications

• Active paramedic license.
• NREMT certification.
• Three years paid in-field work experience.
• Paramedic Instructor License from the Georgia State Office of EMS and Trauma.
• Associate’s degree in Paramedicine or Bachelor’s degree in any field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans to meet program goals and standards for credited technical/occupational courses in Emergency Medical Technology.
• Teach classes at any college location, as needed.
• Evaluate student progress in achieving curriculum goals and objectives.
• Request and maintain necessary supplies and equipment.
• Maintain program certification requirements, as appropriate.
• Prepare and manage documentation related to accreditation and state licensing.
• Ensure safety and security standards are met in the training area.
• Participate in professional development and recruitment efforts.
• Meet with students and staff to discuss instructional programs.
