Job summary

Atlanta Technical College seeks an Adjunct Instructor in Allied Health for the Health & Public Safety Technologies division. The position is part-time, up to 29 hours per week, on the main campus.

Instructors will deliver credited allied health courses, prepare syllabi, assess student progress, and maintain records in a supportive, diverse learning environment. The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in a healthcare field, with 3+ years of related work experience and BLS CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must possess and demonstrate effective teaching skills and advisement for a diverse student population.
• Associate degree in a healthcare profession; credentialed for courses assigned; BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction for credited allied health core courses.
• Prepare curriculum and syllabus for coursework.
• Evaluate student progress and maintain records of attendance and grades.
• Attend trainings and participate in recruitment and student placement efforts.
