Job summary

The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) seeks a Part-Time EMS Instructor to teach EMS courses and support student achievement within the School of Health Sciences. The instructor will plan, organize, and deliver instruction aligned with program goals and state guidelines, fostering academic growth.

Responsibilities include teaching up to 9 instructional units per academic year (summer included), devoting time to course prep and curriculum development, and maintaining records.

Responsibilities

• Teach a maximum of 9 instructional units per academic year, not to include summer semester.
• Spend a minimum of 10 hours per week on class preparation and curriculum revision/development.
• Must spend at least 5 hours per week on average on professional development and/or service as specified by the Faculty Evaluation Policy.
• Faculty may teach up to 9 instructional units during the summer semester.
• Follow all program and school policies and procedures and ensure the student body is aware of and follows all program and school policies.
• Maintain all course records (syllabi, outlines, grades, attendance, etc.).
• Schedule: Varies may include weekends and evenings.
