CSN in North Las Vegas invites applications for Part-Time Instructor in the Department of Education for FY2027. Instructors will teach Introduction to Education and support course duties across CSN campuses, including online options.

Responsibilities include presenting the curriculum, meeting classes on schedule, preparing outlines, and coordinating exams, attendance, and office hours. A Master’s degree in Education or related field is required; 3+ years of special education teaching experience

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education, Educational Psychology, Curriculum and Instruction, ESL, or related field.
• Preference of 3+ years of special education teaching experience.
• PhD or Ed.D in Educational Psychology, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Studies, Educational Leadership, or related degrees.

Responsibilities

• Teach Introduction to Education and be actively involved in the primary duties of the course.
• Provide students an outline of goals, objectives, and content for the course.
• Meet all classes at the designated time, place, and length.
• Prepare and provide a course outline with attendance, exam, and field activity details.
• Explain methods for evaluating progress and final grades.
• Communicate office hours and appointment procedures.
