Job summary

The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) seeks a part-time EMS instructor who will teach in EMS disciplines and meet state and local guidelines. The role reports to the EMS Program Director and Department Chair.

Qualifications

• Meets Southern Nevada Health District EMS guidelines and Nevada state requirements.
• Instructors teach in discipline areas where they have training and competence.

Responsibilities

• Teach a maximum of 9 instructional units per academic year, not including summer.
• Spend at least 10 hours weekly on class prep and curriculum development.
• Allocate at least 5 hours weekly on professional development or service as per policy.
• Teach up to 9 instructional units during summer semester.
• Follow program and school policies and ensure student adherence.
• Maintain course records (syllabi, outlines, grades, attendance, etc.).
