Job summary

Jewish Family Service of Colorado is seeking an Employment Specialist for a temporary, part-time role starting July 29. You will provide on-the-job and educational coaching to individuals with IDD and other disabilities to support job/class success, independence, and long-term retention.

The role includes job development activities as needed and acts as a liaison between clients, employers, teachers, and the ISE Program Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people with disabilities preferred.
• Enthusiasm for supporting a diverse workforce.
• Ability to adapt to new workplace environments quickly.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct on-the-job and educational coaching to individuals with IDD and other disabilities to support job/class success, independence, and long-term retention.
• Support clients in real-time workplace situations—modeling appropriate behavior and helping navigate challenges with confidence.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and employers to ensure strong communication and positive working relationships.
